Luminary Graphics, Inc.
Luminary Graphics, Inc., is a graphic arts product company that features the caricature art of Mike Caplanis of the world's most famous authors, applied to a variety of products. These products include note cards (in singles and boxed sets), bookmarks, coffee mugs, umbrellas and book bags.
The company was founded by Mouncey Ferguson, who has a background in advertising, marketing management and marketing consulting, and is a resident of Washington, DC. Mouncey was impressed by Mike's caricature artwork, and from Mike's caricatures of authors, he created the Literary Luminaries™ brand and product line.
 About Mike Caplanis
Artist and Illustrator Mike Caplanis has contributed illustrations to the Washington Post, the Los Angeles Times, the Philadelphia Inquirer, Yankee magazine, American History magazine, The Oxford-American magazine and other publications. He illustrated the book Drawn to the Civil War, a book of biographies and caricatures of Civil War heroes. Mike lives with his wife, Karen, and his daughter, Jean, in Stephens City, Virginia.
